A field of 108 amateur women golfers teed off Tuesday at Bolingbrook Golf Club, Bolingbrook, IL competing for the 50th Illinois Senior Women’s Amateur Championship.

 

Donna Peterson from Bloomington was medalist with a 75.  Former Champion Jackie Schwarz from Huntley, along with DeAnne Stolarick of Zion shot 78.  Mary Ellen Martin of Winfield only other golfer to break 80 with a 79.

 

The field will continue play on Wednesday with a 9:00 a.m. shotgun start.  Thursday will be an 8:30 a.m. shotgun start.  Spectators are welcom
